We've come a bit further with our bookstore. My husband has built one of our middle aisle shelves and it looks good. We've also installed a new counter to replace the old desk we had there before. Looks much better. There is more work to do but we're getting there for sure.

Donna: The store looks great!!! That was a funny story about the mannequin - at least the guy did not take it for a real woman and ask her out!!!
This is but one of the stories your hubby will have over the course of his life as a used bookstore owner. I suggest that he keep a little notebook under the counter and record these things - he may want to write a book one day. I wish I had.
Your store looks great! I did notice a few empty shelves, though. You need to get Cindy to get rid of some of her books! LOL
Now I'm really looking forward to coming to see you! Is the mannequin still there looking at books? It might be a good marketing tactic, who knows? LOL
Kathy is too funny isn't she? Perhaps I will have to go and leave some books there LOL
Good luck with you store. It looks like it is coming along nicely. I like the table
Wow, Donna, I can't wait to visit the store; it looks fantastic! We must plan a visit out your way. And that story about the mannequin is priceless! I agree with Tina, your hubby (or you) should start writing these stories down!
Lol! What a funny tale. I also think these stories should be written down. I think your bookstore is coming along nicely. I would have loved to see a picture of the men trying to get the mannequin through the door, lol
